This really pisses me off. I’ve been working on removing spyware. It is my job; I update a database to keep my company’s spyware product up-to-date. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m honest and dilligent. I wouldn’t ever put adware or spyware on someone’s computer. But then BS artists on pestpatrol.com have suddenly listed the product I work on as “Adware”.

Bull. Total and utter bull. I have installed the program on my system and it doesn’t send me any spyware. If it did, I’d be the first in line to quit because I don’t believe in putting crap on computers. The only “scam” involved is that we charge to remove the Spyware (30 bucks per year). Of course the program is updated every day, and we answer emails, even on the weekend. It isn’t a scam, just being paid for the work we do.

This has pissed me off beyond belief. All the work I do and the reputation I will get as a result is suspect because of a group of people who didn’t even bother checking the facts (implying that their own product is crap.) People are going to read and think “Hey they install Spyware”, making months of hard work mean nothing.
